The Eternal Quest

This painting was created for some friends who were getting married. They had met through gaming and are very much into D&D style fantasy settings. I really wanted to achieve the feel of classic fantasy novel covers with the composition of the piece. I blocked the scene and lighting out in 3D and then painted over everything to add color and detail.
